THE CASINO THAT PUTS CUSTOMERS FIRST
Leeds | Grosvenor Casino Leeds Westgate
First of all, let me tell you a little bit about the casino itself. It’s recently had a £3 million makeover, with state of the art gaming, a fancy restaurant and stunning bar/lounge area. As you walk through the door you immediately see and feel the quality and effort that’s gone into this place, making it a super fun and exciting place to be. I love casinos and I’ve had some unforgettable memories with friends over the years in many across the country, so this trip was an extra bit special for me.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the team at Grosvenor by the General Manager who gave us a tour of the Casino, showing us the bar, restaurant and countless games to play. They have roulette, blackjack, three-card poker, dice, Punto Banco, slots and electronic roulette, as well as private poker tables. But before any of that, it was time to eat!
Their restaurant had the perfect warm, welcoming atmosphere with total relaxing music. Comfy seating, large tables and a fantastic selection of wine. After we ordered, dinner didn’t take long to arrive. It wasn’t long before starters, mains and desserts were gone, along with a few more glasses of vino! The quality of food was outstanding, and it was something that kept coming up in conversation across the table.
In summary, Dinner was incredible. I had Chicken Satay to start, Lamb for mains and Warm Belguim Waffles for dessert. The menu suits all, if you’re a meat lover, fish lover or vegetarian there are plenty of options for everyone.
The three-course meal was included in the VIP experience along with various other benefits, including a FREE drink, gaming tutorial, £5 slots voucher, £5 table voucher and £20 online credit. The package is only £30 per person (2 people minimum), which is incredible for the amount you receive. If you pop in, they will also let you know what events they have coming soon, including live bands, singers, comedy nights, live sports and more!
Once dinner had digested, we were ready to explore the Casino itself. Another member of the team, Paul, took us three over to a private table to learn how to play Roulette and Black Jack. The private lesson consisted of Paul telling us all about the game, the rules, what to do and most importantly what not to do! It was so interesting learning about gaming etiquette and how to have respect and fun whilst playing.
Paul started to also explain their attitude to customer service at the Casino. They take pride in ensuring people are having fun. The environment is very welcoming and not intimidating like a lot of casinos I’ve visited are. The staff also have a lot of time and respect for their guests, offering free gaming tutorials. Paul continued telling us about how customer retention is also a key focus of their business strategy. Their aim is not for you to spend all your money, and they put a lot of time and effort into their customer relations enforcing responsible gambling.
Grosvenor Casino Leeds also has an incredible competition on for a limited time only, where you can win a Caribbean Cruise for 2! Wouldn’t that be insane right now! Head to the casino for more information and to enter (hurry, competition closes 28th April!). A Caribbean Cruise sounds good to me!
