THE ESSENTIAL FOOTWEAR GUIDE
Yarm | Daniel Footwear/Daniel Man
7:30AM – THE TRAINER
It’s 7:30am and I’m ready for a super busy day! This look is inspired by morning exercise and the commute to work. I know a lot of people like to get their exercise over with in the morning so they can have time to relax and socialise on an evening! This outfit is laid back and relaxed, super comfortable, and the footwear has been chosen to complement just that – comfort! These Daniel Man Black Knitted Woven Lace Up Trainers are perfect for the gym or even just to throw on as you’re walking to work. I love the minimalist design and support structure. They’re also super durable, perfect for long walks or intensive exercise.
9:00AM – THE BROGUE
It’s time for work, and today I’ve got a few meetings so I’m dressing up a little bit more formal. I’m loving a classic black turtleneck for my meetings lately, with a statement trouser and a smart, simple black shoe. The Daniel Holnest Black Leather Square Toe Brogue is my current go to for a smart, sophisticated and comfortable work shoe. I can strut around the office all day with no discomfort. They’re also super versatile with most outfits. Whether you’re rocking a good old two-piece or smart jeans and a shirt, the brogue is definitely a safe choice. You can also add a touch of individuality, as many styles of brogues have a unique pattern or detailing like these do.
5:30PM – THE HIGH TOP
Now, these aren’t just any high tops, I’d like to think of these as the hybrid between a high top and smart trainer. Again, super versatile and goes perfectly with this whole casual after work drinks look I’m going for. The Daniel Pilsdon Suede High Top Trainers go perfect with my black jeans, logo tee and jacket, really making a statement and highlight to my footwear. You can throw these in your bag ready for when you leave the office and become the perfect day to night transition for your outfit.
8:00PM – THE CHELSEA BOOT
Probably saving the best till last, but how can an evening outfit not be complete without a good old Chelsea Boot. I’m obsessed with this style of shoe and tends to be my absolute go-to shoe for most of my outfits. Usually, I’d go for black, but the Daniel Honiton Tan Leather Chelsea Boots are even better for this smart/casual date night outfit. If you’re wanting to formal-up one of your outfits, these are definitely my recommendation. They’re super comfortable, stylish and definitely brings your outfit to life with a pop of colour. The colours go great with this floral print shirt I’m wearing and really makes the brown tones come to life.
