Grooming Essentials For The Frequent Traveller.

THE RIGHT GROOMING GEAR

with L’Occitane and MaleSkin.co.uk

I’ve literally never been away from home so much lately! London one week, Leeds the next, stop off in Manchester and back to London again. It’s been a manic start to the year. But I’m not complaining for one second, I love to travel and explore so having the right products alongside me is imperative!

I like to travel light, with a minimal kit – but enough to ensure I have the right products for A, to keep my skin perfectly healthy on the go, and B, products that I know will ensure my shaving is ‘literally’ as smooth as possible. Today, I’ve got a few products to show you all that I’ve been using over the past few weeks. They’ve gone through some serious testing, so I’m ready to give my verdict!

Before I start, these are all stocked on maleskin.co.uk, I’ve mentioned this site a few times on The G Edit. It’s my favourite place to stock up on skincare, haircare and anything I need for my grooming routine. I seriously recommend checking it out, and there will be links to these products throughout the post. Ready, steady… skincare!

I think one thing that stands out most about all four of these products is the absolute quality of the formula. Whether it be the CADE Protective Moisturising Fluid or the Shaving Gel, the premium feel of each solution is next to none. The moisturising fluid feels silky soft, very lightweight and sinks straight into the skin, giving you long-lasting (none sticky) moisture all day long. It’s the perfect moisturiser for when you’re on the go. Small, easy to pack, and only a small pump of the product needed. Whilst I’m on the topic of hydration, the After Shave Fluid is the ideal solution to keep your skin soft and irritation free after a quick morning shave. I especially love putting this product on my stubble as well, as it keeps it soft and looking healthy. If you’re looking for something a little more thicker, cooling and refreshing, I recommend the After Shave Balm. Slightly different in texture but similarly hydrates and protects the skin with a cool kick. But every shave is not complete without starting off with a quality gel. The L’Occitane Shaving Gel gives a smooth contact for your razor to effortlessly glide over your skin. It totally reduces the risk of cutting your skin, or irritation. The last thing you want when you’re away from home is a rashy neck!
