Farm Girl Cafe

59a Portobello Rd, London, W11 3DB

I’m a total foodie. Trying new dishes, restaurants and cuisines is something I love to do, so when someone comes along (AKA my work bestie Danielle) with a new suggestion for somewhere to eat, I’m all over it! Little did I know she was going to suggest somewhere I’ve always wanted to go.

In the centre of Notting Hill, sits a little cafe which is every London blogger, journalist and influencers favourite. Farm Girl. I’ve stalked their Instagram account on many occasions but getting the chance to actually go visit was a real treat! This warm, welcoming place, tucked away in a courtyard on Portobello Road – is a nutritional, fresh and hipster cafe serving the perfect brunch. Brunch was exactly what I needed after a few days of hard work.

We sat down, ordered a cup of tea, flat white and two glasses of water.

Their menu was beautiful. Literally I wanted to try everything, but I settled for the avocado and poached egg on sourdough, garnished with a sprinkle of pomegranate, fresh coriander and lemon juice – a favourite of mine. Oh… and it was damn tasty. So so tasty. Danielle had a similar dish, sourdough bread with poached egg, grilled tomato’s and avocado. It’s mad how food can really up your mood! We felt so fresh and ready for the day.

Quite fortunately as I was appreciating the exquisite decor, my eyes clocked the desert counter. Two brownies later, we were done.

Farm Girl is one of those places you don’t want to pack up and go straight away, there was so much to look at and admire, from the unique interior to the small details, fresh flowers and even the customers. Some with friends, some on meetings and some just working away in this tranquil , calm environment.

Unfortunately Farm Girl Cafe don’t take bookings, so I recommend going during the week where it will be a little quieter than a weekend. It’s totally picturesc, so make sure you take a camera or have your phone at the ready. You will want to snapchat this!

This is also the perfect place if you’re vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or dairy free. Their menu is quite accommodating so you’ll be sure to find something you love.

If you’re in the Notting Hill area, or fancy a trip to somewhere a little off the map then Farm Girl Cafe is the perfect place to kick start your day with a spot of brunch. I can’t wait to visit this little gem soon!

Have you ever been to Farm Girl Cafe, what did you order?
