Christmas Wrapping!! Yes, one of my favourite things to do. Some of you may remember, last year I did a little step-by-step of how I wrap my presents and it actually got quite a buzz, so I thought why not do it all again with my 2016 design.
I love wrapping my presents a little different than normal. I remember 2012 was all red paper with red ribbon, 2013 blue with paint speckles splatted onto the paper, 2014 I used parcel paper with a rustic ribbon, 2015 all white paper with green and white ribbon… so when it came to my ideas for this year, it took some time to think of the perfect design that was a touch different.
The idea came to me when I was watching a Net-A-Porter haul by Lydia Elise Millen and I completely fell in love with the packaging that the products she bought came in. It was all black with a gorgeous black ribbon. This was the one! To make it a little bit more festive, I decided to add a touch of green. This was just a cutting off some plant in my garden.

So what do you guys think? It was pretty simple actually, matt black wrapping paper (this was actually display paper, you know what teachers in Primary school use to make wall displays with? It works so much better), thin black ribbon, black gift tags and a small cutting of foliage. Easy!
I went for a black matt wrapping paper because I think it looks so much better than a shiny or glossy paper, so if you like this look keep that in mind.
Are you wrapping your presents a little different this year? Tell me what your theme is!
Merry Christmas folks x
