It’s been way too long since I did a favourites post. I love sharing with y’all what I’ve obsessed over and used for the past month!

I’ve had a super busy month this September, like mega mega busy *insert tired emoji here*. Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t complaining… I love to keep busy, keep myself moving about and keep my brain ticking over! However, sometimes over working has its drawbacks and your skin is the first to show the signs.

That’s why skincare this month has been a super must for me. I guess I should first mention a toner I’ve been using. This has appeared on the blog quite a few times, but with all skincare I like to switch it up a little so I find that a lot of it gets lost at the back of my drawers. One day at the beginning of the month I was having a clear out and came across the ReVive Balancing Toner. This stuff is like liquid gold. If you’re having a rough day, week… year… this little formula will keep you looking fresh. It’s came in super handy with my hectic lifestyle lately, commuting to work, trips away, events, seeing friends, the odd cocktail or six… this toner just gives you that extra bit of life – probably the bit that was left behind in the bar on Saturday night!

Moving swiftly on, face masks, face masks, face masks. Something I probably don’t do frequently enough. This month however I’ve been loving the Kiehls Cilantro & Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Mask and putting time aside to wind down on an evening. Simply apply over your face, leave on for around 20-30 minutes and boom! An instant boost of hydration and nutrients – designed to combat day to day pollutants in the air keeping your skin revived and radiant.

My skin is a real hater of the cold weather, so when it gets to the Autumn/Winter period I need intense hydration, otherwise my entire face becomes dryer than the desert! Okay that was slightly dramatic, but I do need to keep my skin topped up with essential moisture to keep it healthy and glowing. My secret to this is the Aesop Parslay Seed Hydrator. This lightweight formula literally sinks right into your skin with essential antioxidants for a glowing and rejuvenated appearance. This formula also combats the signs of ageing, blemishes and acne scaring so for me – this is marvellous.

Finally on this months favourite round up, a fragrance for the season. I did a little write up about this number when it first arrived at my door, but I felt rude not to mention it again since it’s been my go to scent of the month. Yes, I’m talking about the Jo Malone London Basil & Neroli. This is a huge release for JML this year and I’m hearing nothing but good news from bloggers, magazines and press over the world. I think they’ve done a smashing job with this one, really capturing British elements, Jo Malone London heritage and a dose of contemporary style. Because I’m all about fragrance combining, this has paired perfect with the Jo Malone London 154… adding that subtle spice to Basil & Neroli. Try it yourself!
