People can express who they are by a particular fragrance, enlightening peoples senses by using things we call ‘notes’. A fragrance can tell a person who you are, not though words but through scent and can imprint on someone reminding them of key characteristics, people and memories.
When I’m getting ready on a morning, to complete my look is when I have spritzed my chosen scent on my neck and wrists. I then feel like I’m ready to leave the house. If I leave without a spritz, I literally feel incomplete all day long! We all have our go to favourites, and today I’m going to tell you all about a new edition to mine…
Armani Code has been a mens favourite for years, it’s one I use to wear and takes me back to my college days. Recently, I got my hands on their brand new edition, Armani Code Profumo. Profumo is an explosive new scent, that screams power and masculinity. The packaging is beautiful, with it’s rose gold/copper lid and tinted warped glass body, representing the black of night. You can feel the quality and stability within the design, embracing it’s addictive, powerful and magnetic scent.
Top notes of green mandarin, green apple and cardamom; middle notes of orange blossom, lavender and nutmeg; and base notes of tonka bean, amber and leather.
With it’s traditional scent of the tonka bean, the use of cardamom and woody amber has intensified this fragrance, putting it in a whole other dimension. Amber is one of my all time favourite scents, and combining it with these two ingredients has completely transformed this fragrant cocktail.
Profumo has a very sexual and aromatic scent, that resembles evening attire, charm and seduction. The perfect event fragrance.
I can see this being perfect for any occasion, formal dining or an evening with friends. If you’re a fan of a spicy, woody and aromatic fragrance this one is for you. Interested? Find out more here.
