As frequent readers will be aware, I’m a sucker for a good fragrance… so when I got my hands on this little bottle of Burberry Brit I was in love.
Putting aside their die for packaging that I literally want to wrap my bedroom up in, this bottle of Burberry Brit Rhythm is by far my spring fragrance staple. Let me tell you why…
Burberry has always been one of my favourite brands, from their iconic British style and how they harness historic heritage in their designs… it’s right up my street. I’ve always wanted to get my hands on one of their classic scarfs with my initials monogrammed on it, but for now that’s a dream away. Currently as I type away, my hands are tight around this gorgeous ridged glass bottle but it’s what’s inside the bottle that counts.
This scent is literally everything I want in a fragrance. Musk, smoke and spice. With top notes of artemisia, cumin seed and pepper oil infused with amber, leather and patchouli… I couldn’t ask for more incredible ingredients that symbolise my favourite scents. Base notes include cashmere, guaiac wood and tonic bean, giving it that hint of subtle masculinity. A word you could represent this fragrance with is sexy. It has a very aromatic appeal to it, one of those where people walk past and say “ooo what are you wearing”. Trust me, I’ve had first hand experience of this at work and university.
I can see myself overusing this, this spring time, so if you’re looking for a new 2016 fragrance I 100% recommend this one. Interested? Find out more here.
