Bath Time Essentials.

Baths have become a regular thing for me lately (Disclaimer Alert: I usually shower js.). I use to only have one or two a week but I’m really enjoying the whole bath thing at the moment, and a naturally occurring set of products have became apparent…

Something that I’ve also recently started doing is cleansing my face in the tub, usually I’d save the whole skincare routine before bed. Although I’d never cleanse in the shower because in my opinion the water is too hot, the bath seems to be a sensible place to give my face a good clean. I’ve been loving the LUSH Ultrabland Cleanser, which is a perfect alternative to my regular balm cleanser by Emma Hardie. It has a similar balm consistency, but slightly thicker than the EH one. I simply massage the formula into my face and remove with a muslin cloth or flannel, depending what’s clean and in arms reach.

Once my face is lovely and clean, I like to move in with a mask once or twice a week. I’ve being LOVING the JorgObe Peel Of Mask over the last few months. This is your traditional black peel off mask, that does wonders removing all the grime within your pores. I place this on my T zone, and the satisfaction of peeling it off is incredible. It works hard at removing and preventing blackheads and impurities by dragging it all to the surface. It has extracts from the Dragon Blood Tree (how awesome does that sound), hazel and echinacea to unclog pores and reduce the build up of excessive oils.

While the mask is drying, I will exfoliate my body a (couple of times a week) with the Rituals Ayurveda Scrub. This is a mild exfoliant that helps remove any dead skin, dirt and build up that naturally occurs during the day. There’s something about exfoliating your body that leaves it feeling super fresh and nourished. Enriched with indian rose oil and multani clay, this is the perfect affordable, luxury product for your bath time routine. Ps. Your skin smells incredible after using this.

Once I’m all exfoliated, I will wash my bits and bobs and everything else with the LUSH The Olive Branch Shower Gel. This is a much loved favourite of mine, along with the Rose Jam Shower Gel. LUSH shower gels are awesome and remain one of my favourite brands for bath and body products.
