I’m all for a little splurge every now and again (probably way too often), and recently I clicked on Liberty London and made a few well deserved purchases…

My first purchase was actually something that was on my ‘to buy’ list, and that was a backpack for New York. I needed something strong, light weight and of course super fashionableeeeee. So of course my go to brand was Herschel to fulfil these needs. Herschel is a Canadian brand that I have bought a few things from in the past, but never a bag. So I picked up the Herschel Black Settlement Backpack. It has a strong, padded strap, front pocket and inside zip for things such as keys, memory cards and little bits and bobs. I love the vintage design with it’s modern touch. It even has a laptop sleeve inside that can fit up to 15″ laptops inside. Perfect for on the go blogging and photography!

Now for the ‘unnecessary but irresistible’ purchases. After reading Kate La Vie about a month ago, I read about her love for the Diptyque Cypres Candle, so I decided to take her recommendation and give it a go. It’s amaze! You can really pick up the scent of honey and resin from this candle. I love the subtle scent it gives off that fills the room without overpowering.

Finally I picked up a much loved exfoliating toner of mine, the Glow Tonic by Pixi Beauty. This is now my third bottle of this amazing solution because it just works so well. It’s gentle enough in my opinion to use every day (night-time I thinks best), and leaves your skin literally glowing! This is probably down to the ginseng, a much loved product of mine that makes you look alive and rejuvenated. It helps remove dead skin cells while treating and restoring by oxygenating and tightening your face.

Money well spent I think…

What are your January purchases?
