Rubba-dub-dub, Gianni in the tub… and not alone! I have three bath time essentials for you today that have a permanent place on the side of my bath and they are just absolutely dreamy…
I don’t invest much in shower products, apart from the occasional £50 LUSH haul (embarrassed emoji insert here), but when it comes to shower gels I do have my stand by-holygrale favourites that always have a spot on the shelf. Let me tell you about them…
First up on the list is The Noble Isle Rhubarb Rhubarb Shower Gel. This screeeeeeeams luxury and so does the gorgeous packaging. I love the Rhubarb Rhubarb collection especially their hand wash and lotion which I reviewed here. This has an amazing scent to it that stays on your skin all day long. It’s one of those shower gels that are perfect for in the morning to wake you up and make you feel squeaky clean and fresh. Costing £20, this is a little pricy but well worth it. I am someone who loves to invest in my skin whether that be my face or body, and I think your skin is something worth spending that little extra on, you only have it once! I’ve added the fragrance notes to help you imagine this lovely scent, Rhubarb can sound off-putting but trust me, this is divine.
Top notes: Rhubarb, Juniper Berry,
Heart notes: Rosemary, Tarragon
Base notes: Moss, Cedarwood
Next up on the bathroom shelf is the L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil. I have being using this for such a long time now and it feels like a first time whenever I use it. Did that sentence make sense, you catch my drift right? There is literally just something about this product, I don’t know? Maybe it’s the silky oily texture or the amazing subtle almond scent, but it wins me over 100%. This screams luxe at such a justifiable price, I just wish they did bigger bottles!
Finally and last but not least, I thought I’d throw in a more affordable shower gel that still has that quality feel, super delicious scent and silky texture, The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Shower Gel. The Body Shop shower gels are perfect gifts for yourself or someone else. I love their classy simplistic packaging and they are damn good quality for the money you pay! If you’re someone who hasn’t tried this range, get yourself down to your local Body Shop and lather on their tester pots! This I would probably say was my most used shower gel as it isn’t as expensive as the others, so if you’re looking for something that isn’t too expensive then this is the product for you.
