After such an amazing day 1 at the Edinburgh Napier University, we were so curious to what day 2 had in store, keep reading and find out what we got up to…

When we heard we were visiting the Business school, I was so excited. Because I’m studying Marketing at Teesside University, I was so intrigued to see what the similarities and differences were at Napier. We started off the day with a tour of the school, then sat down with one of the lecturers to talk about blogging and branding. It was so nice to be able to talk as a group about something were all so passionate about, but someone who is also equally interested to listen. We all learnt so much in this session and walked out feeling really positive about what we were all doing in terms of our blog and passions.

After a spot of lunch, we then went back to the classroom, where another lecturer talked to us all about feminism in the media. This was a really interesting lecture and discussing topics within advertisement such as the American Apparel campaigns and similar fashion brands, was really eye-opening to us all.

We then took a taxi into the City again and did some shoppingggggg. Now us bloggers are professionals at shopping so we couldn’t go for a trip without setting some time aside for that. We popped into Jo Malone, Anthropoligie, Space NK (my bank balance plummeted at this point) and Oliver Bonas along with a whole lot more. I couldn’t believe the range of shops, restaurants, bars and independents there. After our pennies were spent, we went for tea at a restaurant called Le Monde. I had the burger which was absolutely amazing!

To end the night, we visited Dr Knox Enigma. This was again another highlight of this trip. This was basically a game that consisted of multiple tasks to escape a room you were locked in. I can’t say much about the game otherwise it will spoil it for those who want to try it out, but all I can say is do not underestimate how amazing this is! I highly recommend anyone who is visiting or lives in Edinburgh to go try this out.

From the amazing teaching facilities, to the local entertainment, day two showed what an amazing City Edinburgh was to study in. We were blown away by the second campus and what an enjoyable building it was to work in with our sample lectures. Not only the University itself, but Edinburgh as a city left us all in awe.

Check out tomorrow post for day 3, but for now, here are some snaps from day 2.
