All Seasons In One Bottle | Jo Malone

So you may have read my post last week about my recent trip to the Jo Malone York boutique, and that my bank balance was seriously damaged. Well, today I bring you all the source of my bankruptcy. My new favourite, Incense & Cedrat.

If you’re into a mysterious scent that’s musky and hearty, this is definitely the one for you. I love a good fragrance and there’s something about Jo Malone which makes everything better. First of all before we even touch the subject of scent, the packaging is impeccable. I absolutely love the dark bottle identifying the intense collection and of course the iconic box all Jo Malone products are packaged in. The quality of the glass is next to nothing and the pump has a light even spray when applying.

Now the fragrance. I am one like many others who can not describe fragrances but I’ll give it a go. First of all the website definition:

Precious incense. Once more treasured than gold. From a vision of fragrant tears crystallising under the Oman sun into gems of balsamic scent. The warmth of unfurling resins woven with the brightness of cedrat. A luminous citrus twist. Majestic and mystical.

Top Note: Cedrat (Citrus Fruit)

Base Note: Incense

Heart Note: Vetyver

Doesn’t that sound amazing. It has a really deep, musky scent to it that lasts all day long, and combines with other Jo Malone fragrances like a treat. I love combining it with the Jo Malone 154 as it gives it a spicy tweak to the original fragrance. Fragrance combining is something I’m really getting into and is loved by the staff at Jo Malone, if you want to find out more click here.

This is the perfect uni-sex fragrance for any occasion and it is definitely the best I’ve smelt in a long time. So why not pop into your local store and check it out yourself.

Jo Malone Incense & Cedrat £105.00 (100ml)
