Paris oh Paris oh Paris, a city that you can not describe fully with words. You can leave Paris, but Paris will never leave you…
As cliché as it sounds, it’s true. Paris will never leave me even when I’m here in the UK. It truly is an amazing city, one that needs to be understood. Last year my week in Paris was one of the best times of my life so I thought I’d share today a few places to go, places to eat and things to see with you all in case you ever decide to pack up your bags and take a trip there.
So let’s go to basics, Paris is one of the most beautiful cities I have every been to. From architecture to culture, this place just sings in mystery and most importantly style. The motive I set myself when we landed at the air-port was ‘discover and experience everything you possibly can’, and I feel that I definitely succeeded. We stayed in a four star luxury hotel called L’Edmond, in the gorgeous suite five stories up. It was beautiful. We were so lucky that the hotel was bang in the middle of the city so we were in walking distance of everything, and boy we did some walking! Around 8 miles a day on average.
If I can give you one piece of advice, would be just say yes. Walk into Tiffany & Co. Drink a coffee from the Nespresso shop. Experience the wine, or a bottle, or two… You catch my drift. Whatever Paris throws at you, catch it.
My feet would hurt at the end of the day, but that wasn’t all a bad thing. I knew that the experience at the top of the Eiffel Tower was worth it, and experiencing traditional Parisian food was unmissable. So give yourself some blisters!!
