Nutella Melting Cookies.

One hidden love of mine is getting my hands messy in the kitchen, and when it comes to cooking/baking.. cookies come straight to mind. So today I’m telling you all one of my favourite recipes, Nutella Melting Cookies.

These are absolutely delicious so lets not waste any time! First of all pre-heat your oven to 180*C/356*F/Gas Mark 4 and line two trays with baking paper.

Now it’s time to get your ingredients ready:

  • 2 cups of plain flour 
  • 1 tsp of baking soda 
  • 1/2 cup of butter, softened 
  • 2/3 cup of granulated sugar 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips 
  • 1/2 cup of Nutella

Now you have those sorted its time to get baking!

First of all put your butter, sugar and vanilla extract into a bowl and mix. Next add the eggs! Once the ingredients are all mixed in, fold in the flour and baking powder a bit at the time until a dough mixture starts to form. Once the mixture has started to come together and the flour is all poured in, fold in the chocolate chips

Next take a little bit of mixture and flatten in a round shape on the palm of your hand. Spoon a little bit of Nutella into the middle and fold the edges around enclosing it. Place onto the baking tray and push lightly to flatten into a round cookie shape. Once you’ve repeated this for the rest of the mixture, put into the oven for around 10-15 minutes. You don’t want to overcook these as they are best chewy!

Leave to cool and tuck in!
