I have being saying for sooooooo long I really want to try out the Benefit Skincare range, but I’ve never wanted to buy the full size versions in case I really don’t like them. But on one winters night whilst tucked up in bed, browsing around on Boots.com, I discovered this little beauty.
The Benefit Skincare range, miniatures collection. YUSSSS! This was perfect for me to try out what I liked and what I didn’t like before I spent a fortune on the full size bottles and tubs. So the question is you may ask… what do I think?
Lets start off with the Total Moisture Facial Cream. I found this quite a thick moisturiser so not a lot was required, but when applying it to your face it sunk into the skin straight away, leaving no oily/greasy appearance or texture. It smells delicious and keeps the skin hydrated for ages! This was perfect for my winter season dry patches.
Next up, the Refined Finish Facial Polish. This is an exfoliating paste that has really fine beads in so it doesn’t irritate or strip your skin at all. I found it great for reducing the appearance of pores. This can also be doubled up as a face mask so after you’ve massaged it into your skin, leave on for a few minutes then wash off with warm water. It contains natural clay and seaweed known to purify and soften skin.
I found the Moisture Prep Toning Lotion was a great after cleanse product that gets your skin ready for moisturiser. It has a very silky, light texture and smells amazing. This is by far one of my favourite out of the collection and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new after cleanse product.
For those of you who need that extra protection, the Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15 is the perfect remedy. Designed to Hydrate, Protect and Comfort your skin, this light weight, grease free moisturiser leaves your skin looking dewy and healthy for hours after use. It’s an oil free formula so even people with the oiliest skin won’t suffer using this one. Using the Moisture Prep Toning Lotion before this is the perfect combo!
Next is the Foaming Cleanser. Now I’m not really a fan of foaming cleansers as I feel they don’t really do much to my skin. I much prefer an oil/balm/gel based cleanser however this one isn’t all that bad. Great for removing makeup and dirt, this foams up to a smooth lather and effectively preps your skin for the rest of your skincare routine.
And finally… the It’s Potent Eye Cream. Now this is one of the product I’ve heard a lot about, very good stuff in fact. And I can see why people like this so much. The eye cream is a gel texture that instantly sinks into the skin hydrating and smoothing out the appearance of fine lines. I found it really effective for uneven skin tone as my dark circles and ‘bags’ seemed less noticeable. Like instantly!
At only £14.50, this is a complete bargain for testing out the range and I’m so glad I found this little treasure chest of benefit skincare. Because of this I now know which ones I’m going to order and in fact, already purchased the Triple Protection Facial Emulsion full size. This would also be the perfect stocking filler and at such a low price, you cant complain. This would be ideal for any Benefit makeup lovers or skincare enthusiasts.
