Autumn is now here and most importantly my favourite month of the year, October. Now I don’t know about you but October is one of those months that feels really different to any other in the year. Do you know what I mean?
For starters October is the month where my birthday falls, the 9th as a matter of fact. And of course I loveeeeee love love my birthday. It’s one of those days where you can get together with friends and family and spend some time catching up and obviously celebrating that you’re another year old *cry cry*. This year, I am 20, or twenteen as I’m saying to everyone, I literally refuse to leave my teenage years.
Not only is it my birthday but this month I head off to Paris for a week which I’m super excited for. Lets just say it’s my idea of skincare heaven, not to mention the sight seeing and amazing food. I really can’t wait to go so check out my Instagram for lots and lots of pictures. Another reason why Octobers a big month is I am now back at University in my second year and things are starting to get tough. Not exactly yet because we haven’t done much work, but knowing this work actually counts towards your final mark is a little scary! I loved last year at Uni so hopefully I can say the same when this year is over, I have some great friends there including Megan Lillie (Thumbelina Lillie) who’s birthday is in October too, and we have helped each other huge amounts over the last year with our blogs! A few more things, Halloween of course! I love halloween. It’s a great excuse to get all dressed up and be creative with what you wear, have some fun with friends and of course have a few bevies! Did someone shout Mojito?!
Finally we can’t forget dark nights, hot chocolates, leaves turning red, candles, Harry Potter movie nights and of course winter clothing (my favourite attire). I think this years Octobers going to be a good one.
Do you have any plans for October?
