Skincare | Origins Make A Difference Plus Rejuvenating Treatment Lotion

When it comes to my skincare routine, I think the most important part of it has to be the toner. As Clinique say, the toner is the difference maker! Toners are used after you have cleansed and cleaned your skin, leaving your skin fresh, closing your pores and getting you ready to moisturise. Most people skip the toning part of a routine as a lot of people aren’t aware of what they do. I’ve tried many toners in the past and only recently have I came across one that has so many little extras I never thought about. Almost all of my toners I have used have had a acidic smell, or lack of fragrence which you find in many organic based solutions. But as soon as I applied this little beauty, the smell made me want to use it more and more!

The Origins Make A Difference Plus Rejuvenating Treatment Lotion (What a mouthful!) is one of the best toners I have used and although my main appeal was the fruity aroma, it actually does make such a difference. Most toners do tend to slightly dry the skin out, but this one keeps it looking dewy and healthy! This could be due to the idea of the lotion, retaining the moisture in the skin rather than drying it out. I wouldn’t say this product would be best to rely on if your prone to breakouts, as treatment creams will probably do the job for those.

In a nut shell, this is a great refreshing lotion that reduces redness in the skin, prepping it for your daily moisturiser in a more hydrating way. This claims to be good for all skin types so I highly recommend this to anyone who is struggling to find that perfect toner to match their skin, or anyone who hasn’t got a clue what toner to buy! It really is worth it. Not to mention how amazing your skin smells after application. To apply, simply use a cotton pad, wipe across all areas of the face and neck avoiding eyes, and your ready to apply your moisturiser and treatment products! Simple.
